THREAD: how did the eggs get on the EEV??????

you know how the queen had attached itself to the dropship and fought ripley at the end of Aliens??? well if the queen was killed in the docking bay and the chryosleep room(witch is attached to the EEV) is somewhere else on the ship......how were the eggs layed there....the queen(as far as the movie tells) never left the docking bay....and eggs cant move on thier own!!! if anyone has any therorys they would be appreciated.

Perhaps when Bishop was waiting for Ripley to return with Newt. I believe he was programmed by the company to secure a life form for return home. In A3 when ripley asked Bishop if there was a alien aboard and he said yes....she kind of had a look of disappointment on her face suggesting to me that she knew that bishop brought it aboard....thats my theory

that could be the case but how did they get the egg ripley was the only one that went any where near the hive. and the queen was thought to have been killed w/ the other aliens so where could he have gotten it from.

Well the only other time Bishop was alone is when he is supposed to go patch into the terminal and bring the second drop ship from the Sulaco. It may have been then when he got an egg. I'm thinking he could go into the hive and not be harmed because he is synthetic. The aliens have that six sense (Ripley pregnant and not killed in A3 by the alien) so being he is synthetic and has no host potential for another alien he could have walked in and walked out.....of course that doesn't explain how the egg did not open because even the slightest movement seems to trigger them.

I guess it's just one of those great cinema mysterys we'll never know the answer to...lol

Who even said the egg was in the chryo-room? Maybe the queen, while riding up the EEV decided to leave one last gift hiding and when the egg opened, the facehugger just searched out a good host? As for Ripley's disappointed look after Bishop mentioning the alien on board, he could've been refering to the alien inside her. Since he was tuned into the computer system and all information as to what transpired was sent right to the computer, maybe he secretly knew the alien was in her but hadn't the heart to tell her.
