THREAD: is there any footage of the burke chestburster?

I wish that I could see the footage of ripley handing burke the grenade..... I would be a happy man.

Bah! This is about the only teaser image I've seen of the Burke cocoon Crying or Very sad

I've heared loads of rumours that it was filmed, but they dropped it because the gestation period for the facehugger meant that when Ripley goes back for Newt, Burke should still have a facehugger on him. Thats why the Atmosphere prosessor blows up ahead of schedule beacuse of the time the missing scene took up

Hey, guys, this is my first post in a long while. I waited for a long time for the board to be fixed after it got hacked and I eventually forgot. Then I was like, "I wonder what's going on in that one Alien forum I used to go to."

Yeah, if you listen to the commentary during that scene on disc 3 of the Quadrilogy, Cameron says that it was in the script and filmed, but the scene was dropped because it didn't feel appropriate that Ripley should stop for Burke when she was looking for Newt. That's actually the first picture I've seen of that deleted footage.
