I have some more question to ask. This subtitle also comes from Aliens, the second Alien movie. Thank you all for your help and patience.
For your convenience, I keep the timestamp of the subtitle. If you are not familiar with subtitles, you can just ignore the timestamp before the sentences.
When they are cut off in the complex and Hudson learnt to know that a rescure team will be despathed 17 days after they are overdue, he said:
1135
01:27:14,700 --> 01:27:17,700
Hey, man, I don't wanna rain on your parade...
1136
01:27:17,735 --> 01:27:19,765
but we're not gonna last seventeen hours.
What does "rain on your parade" mean? |

| " rain on your parade" is an expression. Here it means " Hey, I dont want to bum you out" or " I dont want to be negative" or " I dont want to ruin your idea/plan", ect., ect. |
