Couple of more pics of my Starbeast!!
Since the last pics I've added some more ribbed piping added the "cheek" bits (That incidentally,although I know the Alien has no visibe eyes,always remind me of eyes) removed the crappy looking spines from the top of the head,(I'm now going for the original look after all,I figured that with a bit of fancy painting I can make the dome appear to be translucent at the least) and am still in the seemingly never ending process of sanding and filling the dome to get it nice and smooth...
