Here are some pics (grainy again I'm afraid) of my Alien head project,it's been a while since I put anything up but these things take time.
So far I'm pleased with the results,I decided to do away withe the skull as it was proving problematic during construction,mainly it was just so heavy,I sculpted the rest of the head in foam instead and am going for a mix of both the original alien and the aliens alien (a clear dome is beyond my capabilities and would prove far too expensive to commission(sp)
Anyway,what you see here are the "bits" loosely put together for overall effect. I have some fantastic ribbed piping of various thickness,curtesy of a friend in the RAF who got it from an electrician.
Still a ways to go,let me know what you think...
Actually you can see the skull,it makes a great stand!!
