THREAD: What Aliens comics should I get?

I'm going to be collecting the Aliens and Predator trades soon and know of several editions/trades that are available.

I need to know like what the difference between the remastered and the unremastered versions are.

Are some of the old HC's worth getting (Female War, Predator, AvP)?

How many versions of Book One are available and which ones should I get?

What is Aliens Book 2 Hardcover (what stories, worth getting)?

I can't tell you what is worth getting, because I only collect Alien toys and models. What I would suggest doing is to going to Borders.com or BarnesandNoble.com and doing a search for the titles in which you might be interested. The search results will have ratings and reviews for each book, and you can base your selection on that. Good luck.

The remastered series is supposed to follow Fox films' continuity, but they don't do a very good job. I have both Aliens Vol. 1 and Aliens: Hive (I think that's the name of the remastered version) and I really should've saved the money.
The remastered ones also are colored, but (IMHO) to no great effect.
Oh, and you can't get the originals easily.

If you only get two comics, get Newt's Tale #1 and #2--they tell her story before the marines found her, I love them!! You can find comics for very cheap on eBay.
